Dear parents/guardians, I am excited to be your child's teacher in this academic year and I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know you. It is my strong belief  that your child's success depends on the close cooperation between a teacher and you. Therefore, all parents are welcome to visit me in my room, 131, during my conference period Mondays through Fridays.

I will be scheduling automated phone calls every day to inform you about your child's academic progress, assignment turn in, behavior and many more. Please provide the school with a working phone number that preferably has an answering machine. Your involvement in your child's education is highly appreciated and extremely important.

Meet your teacher, Ms. Excel has been teaching Mathematics with LAUSD since 2007. She has Bachelor's and Master's Degree  of Science (M.SC)  in Metallurgical Engineering and Master's Degree (M. ED) in Multicultural Education. She has experience in Gifted/Talented education and taught Gifted classes for many years. Ms. Excel's primary objective is to make Mathematics accessible to every student and help them succeed in their math classes and lives in general.
